Frederic Laurent has rejoined CHP Consulting as a senior consultant following a break of less than 12 months.

Laurent told Asset Finance International that he was returning to CHP because it is one of the few companies genuinely committed to the asset finance industry. He stressed: "The company has invested millions in ALFA v5, a solution which combines cutting-edge technology with ALFA's best-in-class functionality depth."

He also admitted that he was returning to CHP because of the prospect of working again with his fellow CHP employees. "The breadth of their skills," he said, "together with their knowledge and curiosity make them an innovative and reliable group to work with. I have heard lessors refer to CHP consultants as asset finance specialists, and I believe this to be true. I am very pleased to be coming back."

Laurent, who originally gained a degree in Bio-engineering at Imperial College London, is a French national, and is set to enhance CHP's presence in France and other parts of mainland Europe. This will augment CHP's strong presence in the UK, US, Australia, New Zealand, the Nordics and Germany.

Initially based in London, Laurent is set to move to France in the near future.
